Tyler in line for 250th Hatters appearance at Brewers
Hatters goalkeeper Mark Tyler is expected to make his 250th appearance for the club during the trip to Burton Albion tomorrow.
The 37-year-old, who joined Luton in 2009, has been virtually an ever-present for boss John Still, who handed him his debut while at Peterborough back in 1994, since taking over at Luton.
Still said: “I’m very fortunate as I’ve known Mark, from giving him his debut at Peterborough, where he had a fantastic and a long career.
“He’s had a fantastic long career here too, he’s been absolutely terrific and doesn’t show any signs of disintegrating does he?
“He just comes in and does his job and I see him in a much, much different light than when I walked through the door here as he’s a bigger, stronger more iconic person than when I first came.”
