Luton Town were held to a 1-1 draw at Accrington Stanley yesterday in their opening game of the League Two season.
After going behind on the hour mark to Josh Windass’ penalty for the hosts, Hatters boss John Still rung the changes, introducing Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu, Paul Benson and Jack Marriott from the bench.
Luton’s late pressure paid off too as Craig Mackail-Smith’s goalbound shot was diverted in by Jonathan Smith to earn his side a point.
