Whalley reported to be on verge of Shrews move

According to the Shropshire Star, the 27-year-old, who was released from Kenilworth Road last month, has agreed a two-year deal with the Shrews, who won automatic promotion last season, but the club are awaiting clearance on his medical.

Whalley, who made 42 appearance for Luton, scoring five times, was also recently cleared of an any charges relating to an alleged incident with a taxi driver.
