Who will Brabin choose?

TOWN forward Jason Walker admits that none of the Hatters squad have a clue what side manager Gary Brabin will pick for the Blue Square Bet Premier first leg play-off at Wrexham on Thursday night, writes Mike Simmonds.

Brabin rested a host of players on Saturday for the league clash with the Red Dragons, as he named a mixture of youth and experience for the 1-1 draw.

The likes of Keith Keane, Alex Lawless and Claude Gnakpa are all expected to return, but when asked if he had an idea of the team, Walker said: “Not a clue. He (Brabin) doesn’t give anything away at all, which is a good thing.

“He doesn’t name the team on Friday night, he keeps everyone waiting. He names it on the day and to be honest, I think that’s better for everyone, it keeps us on our toes.”
