Willmott hopes for Quakers chance

ROBBIE Willmott can’t wait for the chance to impress the punters at Kenilworth Road, writes Mark Wood.

And the 20-year-old winger, who signed from Cambridge United for £50,000 on Friday, is hoping he might get his chance against Darlington tomorrow night.

He said: “I’m hoping to make my debut for the club tomorrow.

“I don’t expect to go straight into the side but I hope I get the chance to come on and show what I can do.”

On the challenge of the Quakers, he added: “I haven’t played against them but I spoke to some of the lads and they said they are a big physical side.

“I think I know what to expect.”
