Luton Town U21s were beaten 4-1 by Oxford United’s U21s at the Oxford Sports Park yesterday.

It was the Hatters who went in front with their first effort on target on 10 minute, Coree Wilson finding the net.

The lead lasted just two minutes as Luke McNally hooked a loose ball home, before he netted a fine header midway through the first period.

It was 3-1 moments later thanks to Callum Crook's neat finish, as Town tried to mount a comeback in the second half, put couldn't make their pressure count.

Adam Smith added a fourth with 12 minutes to go, before Wilson was denied a late consolation by keeper Damian Niemczycki.
