Woodrow hopes for first-team chance

Teenager could become Town’s youngest ever player

RISING Hatters starlet Cauley Woodrow is just trying to take the attention in his stride as he made the first team bench for the first time last week at the age of just 15 as Town drew 1-1 at Corby in the FA Cup.

If the attacker can make his first team bow before the age of 16 years and seven days, he will beat the previous record set by Jordan Patrick.

Although Woodrow is excited by the prospect he is determined to get his head down and keep working hard.
