Woolley is ready to prove Buckle right

Young striker Jake Woolley wants to prove manager Paul Buckle right after being awarded his first professional contract at Kenilworth Road last week, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 18-year-old impressed Buckle during pre-season and with his work ethic in training, so much so that he was offered a two-year deal.

Unsurprisingly he was quick to sign it and now wants to show his boss it was the correct call.

If Woolley does continue his upward surge, then he has every chance of getting his chance at Luton under Buckle, with the likes of JJ O’Donnell currently starring in the first team.
