Wycombe in talks for more Hatters tickets

Wycombe Wanderers have confirmed they are in advanced discussions with Thames Valley Police about the possibility of accommodating Luton Town fans for the Boxing Day fixture at Adams Park.

The Hatters sold out their entire allocation of 1,800 tickets for the Panache Stand in a matter of days and a statement on the Wycombe official website said: “It is Wanderers’ intention to fulfil the increased demand for tickets by asking season ticket holders in the Beechdean Stand to move to an alternative area of the stadium for this fixture.

“This would enable the club to maximise the opportunity to earn much-needed revenue through ticket sales to visiting supporters, with Blues fans being housed in the Bucks New Uni stand (terrace), Family Stand and Frank Adams Stand.

“All season ticket holders in the Beechdean Stand will be contacted by the club directly before a final decision is made.

“Wanderers hope that a decision will be reached this week and will remain in regular dialogue with Luton Town.”

Meanwhile, only 100 tickets remain for the Town’s all-ticket trip to Burton Albion on Saturday, November 22.

Tickets are now on general sale for this match and over 1,700 tickets have already been sold.
