Young Hatters quartet receive new contracts

A QUARTET of Luton Town’s second year scholars have earned pro contracts at the club, writes Mark Wood.

Ashley Deeney, Christian Tavernier, Lewis Kidd and Ryan Dasilva have all joined Alex Lacey on professional deals

Somewhat surprisingly, Jordan Patrick, who became the club’s youngest-ever player when he appeared as an 82nd-minute substitute in the 2-2 draw at Grimsby Town on October 21, 2008, aged 16 years and seven days, and fellow striker Liam Toomey have been released, following Fabio Bufano and Matt James who had already left the club.
