Marriott cleans up at Hatters' end of season awards

Hatters striker Jack Marriott cleaned up at the club's end of season awards dinner held last night, walking off with five trophies.

The young forward, in his first season at Kenilworth Road after signing from Ipswich Town in the summer, has impressed greatly this term, and is the club’s top goalscorer with 14 to his name.

Marriott was named Player of the Season, Players Player of the Season, Internet Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season and also the Bobbers Travel Away Player of the Season.

Midfielder Cameron McGehan was joint winner of the Young Player of the Season award with Marriott, while he also won the Young Members Player of the Season award, while Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu won the Ian Pearce Memorial Trophy, given for receiving the most man of the matches.

Former Hatter Luke Guttridge won Goal of the Season for his wonder strike against Cambridge United, while the Outstanding Contribution Award was handed to Bobbers Travel’s Les Miller.
