McLoughlin ready to welcome Hereford challenge

Dunstable Town could find themselves facing Hereford United in the Southern Premier League next season.

The Bulls were expelled from the Conference after they missed their latest deadline to pay football creditors and their inclusion could be ratified at the AGM on Friday.

Blues director of football John McLoughlin said: “I’m sure it will be confirmed and we look upon it as just another challenge within a very strong league.

“We have to be realistic and we will be happy competing for a play-off place.

Hereford will be strong and I guess they will now become favourites for the title.”
