McLoughlin sets Dunstable promotion aim
DUNSTABLE Town joint manager John McLoughlin has set his side the clear target of promotion from the Molten Spartan SML Premier Division this season, writes Mike Simmonds.
Blues, who travel to Haringey Borough today, finished seventh last campaign, but have made big strides during the close season in signing the type of players that the boss thinks will make them realistic contenders.
McLoughlin said: “We’re probably one player short for making a serious challenge for this league. The bottom line is promotion. We’ve brought these players in to get out of the league, they’re experienced and that’s the aim.”
