Molten Spartan SML round-up: Caperhorn nets winner as Totternhoe progress

Pacesetters Kent Athletic triumphed 5-1 at Hale Leys United in their top-of-the-table clash to remain clear at the top of Divsion Two.

Kent got off to a flying start with three goals in the first 20 minutes through Shipla Miah (11), Craig Meyrick (18) and Alex Bennett (30).

Tom Brindley pulled a goal back from the spot after Kent conceded a needless penalty, but further pressure from the visitors led to Pat Daly netting a brace to seal victory.

Crawley Green host Wodson Park in Division One on Wednesday night, while Totternhoe entertain Harefield United in the second round of the Challenge Trophy on Saturday.

Crawley Green go to Langford in Division One, Kent Athletic head to Pitstone & Ivinghoe in Division Two, while in Reserve Division One Kent Athletic Res go to Hoddesdon Town Res and The 61 FC (Luton) Res head to London Colney Res.
