Crawley replied with an effort from Peter O’Donnell and took the lead on right minutes.

Postal’s keeper Ross Hampton chased a ball out to the left but failed to gain possession and the ball broke to Jamie Warne who volleyed home from the edge of the box.

Shortly after Hayden Wills set up Nick Nolan but his header went wide, while Warne’s cheeky chip was well saved by Hampton.

Wills, O’Donnell and Gibson all had efforts saved by Hampton, but just before the break Postal’s equalised when Dominic David made a strong run down the left and Jamie Harper headed home his cross.

The second half was marred by an injury to Postal’s Nathan Pooley after an innocuous tackle from Wills left Pooley requiring treatment as an ambulance was called.

However, for the second time this year, they arrived with no functioning gas and air and it took them a full hour to make him comfortable before taking him to hospital.

The game continued but both sides struggled to creat a worthwhile chance.

On the hour Crawley’s Chris Gibson curled a shot just wide and Postal replied with an effort from James Armstrong.
