No complacency for the Hatters ahead of Barnet visit

There's little chance of Hatters' in-form players letting their recent run of good results go to their heads ahead of today's trip to Barnet, according to boss Nathan Jones.

The Luton manager has seen his side triumph in their last three away games, making it five victories from six matches in total now as they continue to try and reduce the gap to the play-offs.

Next up is a visit to a Bees side who have impressed at home this term, with the fifth best record in the division, as Jones said: “They’re training well and there’s an element of belief here now, not over confidence.

“We’re not complacent and that’s the only thing, we have an element of belief in how we play, our training, how we do our work.

“They’re seeing results, seeing progression and then once players do that you can take them further and little by little we’re growing.

“We’re demanding from them a little bit more each time and they’re giving me everything. That is the main thing, they’re giving me, they’re giving the fans, giving the club everything.

“No fingers can be pointed at the shift that people are putting in. Now once we do that, we get better and get a little bit more fluent then we’ll develop as a squad and as a team and we’ll see good results.

“We’re in a good place at the moment. It’s not a complaceny or a confidence, it’s a nice consistency where we know kind of what we’re going to get.
