Rovers claim second-straight win

Barton Rovers beat Thatcham 2-0 at Sharpenhoe Road on Saturday to secure their second-straight Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central win and first clean sheet since August.

Confident Rovers took the lead through Aaron Lansiquot on 19 minutes and sealed victory with seven minutes to go when Bobby Dance fired home their second as they moved up to 16th place in the table.

This Saturday Barton are due to visit Uxbridge and host Aylesbury on Tuesday (November 6).
