Rovers hammer seven past Chertsey
Barton Rovers’ continued their fight for promotion from the Calor Southern League Division One Central with a magnificent 7-2 win over Chertsey Town on Saturday.
Keshi Anderson bagged a first-half hat-trick, while Paul Andrews also scored as Dan Kennoy’s side lead 4-1 at the break.
Liam McDevitt netted the fifth on the hour mark, as two goals from Kyle Lincoln saw Rovers make it 7-1, as Chertsey managed a late consolation.
Rovers travel to play-off rivals Rugby Town today.
