Rovers win final friendly clash
Alex O’Brien netted the winner as Barton Rovers beat Baldock Town 1-0 at Sharpenhoe Road on Tuesday night ahead of their Calor Southern League Division One Central opener at home to Uxbridge on Saturday.
Chairman Darren Whiley said: “It’s going to be a great season with the squad that Dan Kennoy has built up.
“We are definitely looking at pushing for the play-offs.”
