Ten-man Rovers slip to last-gasp defeat

BARTON Rovers slipped to their third straight Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central defeat as they went down 2-1 at bottom of the table Marlow on Saturday.

Rovers showed some real urgency from the start as a pinpoint cross from Niran Vaughan found Bobby Dance, and he looped his header into the net.

Dance was sent off in the second half though as Leon Yarnie’s deflected effort levelled the scores in 70 minutes, before Aaron Couch scored a last-gasp winner.

Barton host Chertsey Town this weekend.
