Totts in penalty woe but Kent go through

Totternhoe went out of the Beds Senior Trophy on penalties to AFC Oakley M&DH after a remarkable 5-5 draw.

The hosts netted with goals from Anthony Wright (2), Graham Clark (2) and Daniel Lambeth.

However, their opponents from the Bedfordshire County Football League Premier Division also notched five and then won the shoot out 4-3.

The 61 FC (Luton) also went out, losing 2-1 at home to Pavenham, with Lewis Holmes on target.

Kent Athletic did go through, with a thumping 5-1 win at Shefford Town & Campton.

Rhys Calvano, Ryan Fazal, George Higley, Simon Richards and Hayden Wills were all on the scoresheet for the visitors.

This weekend, Totternhoe head to Hinton in the Anagram Records Feeder Leagues Trophy while The 61 FC are at Stony Stratford in the league.

In Reserve Division South & East, AFC Dunstable beat Baldock Town 3-2 as Bradley Hedges, Charlie Martindale and Kai Ashley were on target.

Crawley Green were also winners, seeing off Harpenden Town 2-1 thanks to goals from Lui Sarrington and Milton Tomlinson- Dennis.

In Reserve Division North & West, Totternhoe won 3-0 at Tring Corinthian thanks to an own goal, plus strikes by Thomas Howson and Joe Dixon.

The 61 FC suffered defeat though, losing 2-1 at Winslow United.

This weekend, AFC travel to London Colney, with Crawley Green at Wodson Park.

The 61 FC host Old Bradwell, while Totternhoe are at home to Buckingham Athletic.
