The 39-year-old left Hatters to head to the ABAX Stadium on a three month loan deal in March after spending six-and-a-half years at Kenilworth Road, playing 297 times for Town.

He made three appearances for Peterborough towards the end of the campaign as speaking to the media today, McCann said: “We have some good people in the management structure who have played for this football club and know what representing this club means.”
