Dunstable Town came from 2-0 down to triumph 3-2 over Division One underdogs Codicote in the Molten Spartan SML Challenge Trophy final at Harefield United FC earlier this month.

Town had trailed 2-0 until Graeme Buchanan scored from a corner, before two goals in the space of 30 seconds swung the game in their favour.

Buchanan, playing his last match before retirement, was brought down in the area and Newman Carney calmly converted with 10 minutes left.

Before Codicote had a chance to react Dunstable seized the lead seconds later when a long clearance found top scorer Lee Roache.

He eluded the desperate challenges and fired into the top corner to give Dunstable the lead for the first time with his 56th goal of a prolific season.
