Youth Football round-up: Seven up Dunstable Town Youth Whites

Barton Rovers produced their best performance of the season under the floodlights on Friday night as they beat Barton Rovers 6-1 in U21 Division Section One of the Bedford & District Sunday League.

Two first half goals from Jerome Lowe and one from Josh Pearson put them 3-0 up at half time.

Further second half goals from Tom Ayres and David Isaacs (2) sealed the win with Jamie Casley the man of the match.

Barton Rovers Youth continued their fine form with a 6-0 win at Shillington at the weekend with goals from Lowe, Aiden Clarke, Steve Smith, Jason Horton, Andrew Horton and an own goal.

Goals from Ollie Mallord and Alex Beasley saw Dunstable Town win 2-0 at AFC Dunstable in U15 Division One of the Chiltern Youth League.

Despite a slow star Crawley Green Falcons put in an impressive team performance as they dominated possession and created numerous chances as they beat Bedford FC Blues 2-0 in U13 Division One.

A goal in each half from Marcus Gouldbourne secured the win and, although rarely troubled in goal, the Falcons keeper Jake Bell made a terrific save from close range to keep a clean sheet.

A total team performance saw Barton Rovers romp to a 7-1 victory at Luton Borough Reds in U12 Division Two.

Star man Ross Blackwood opened the scoring early with a glancing header from a Harry Hudson corner and he went on to net a hat-trick in a terrific midfield performance which set the tone for the match as Rovers delivered wave-after-wave of attacks.

Barton’s success was built on a solid defensive display as Hudson also scored twice alongside goals from Oli Dimmock and Matthew Potter.

Dunstable Town Youth Whites secured their third straight victory with a 7-1 thrashing of Oakley Rangers to move up to fourth in Division Four.

Defenders Emma Dancer, Cody Robinson, Taylor Lydon and Matthew Rabjohn, aided by keepers Jed Noblett and Madison Walsh-Dowd, kept Rangers at bay for the majority of the game.

A hat-trick from Harvey Graham, a pair from Samuel Harding and goals from Daniel Keating and Alfred Mureithi earned the home side victory, with midfielders George Schofield, Robbie Coe and Tyrese Newton all working extremely hard in the victory.

Dunstable Town Youth went down to a 1-0 defeat at Luton Borough in U12 Division One of the Chiltern Junior Sevens League.

A five star performance from Ben Clarke saw him next five times alongside goals from Will Coote and Nathan Davies as Dunstable Town thrashed Harlington 7-0 in U15 Division One of the Bedfordshire Youth Saturday League.

A very solid and controlled performance saw Barton Rovers Blues claim a deserved 4-1 win against second placed Leighton Town in U14 Division Two.

Daniel Smith hit another hat-trick before setting up Jack Dreyer to score Barton’s fourth as they sealed a third-straight win as they continued their 2014 unbeaten league run in 2014.

Jay Peachey, Luke Dallman and Cam Quinn starred for the Rovers.

Barton Rovers and Riverfield Raiders played out a titanic battle, with both defences playing superbly, as they drew 1-1 in U13 Division One.

After an even first half of few chances. Barton stepped up a gear in the second half as Aaron Daniels’ foul in the box went unseen by the referee.

Barton continued to press and were then caught out of position by a long Riverfield clearance as Barton’s keeper came out of his area, only to lose out to a quick cross into the box for Riverfield to convert into an empty net.

As the clocked ticked down Barton got one more chance with a great through pass from Connor MacMillan as Ashley Ingham equalised with the last kick of the game.

Rovers MOM was Ed De Luca for his fantastic effort in defence.
