Ford motor to Vauxhall victory

Vauxhall’s recent run of good results came to an end as they went down 3-1 at Ford in East Region Division Two South at the weekend.

The visitors struck first through Mahmood Ali, but Ford hit back to score three times before the break.

A much better performance in the second half meant Ford’s expansive play was greatly restricted and had a disallowed goal for the visitors been allowed to stand, the match could have gone either way.

Mid-table Vauxhall host Saffron Walden on Saturday.
