Frustrating finish for Town’s top team

LUTON Town men suffered a frustrating 4-3 home defeat to bottom of the table Berkhampsted in their East Men’s League Division Three South West match at the weekend.

The visitors netted first, but Luton were on level terms through Jerry Maguire.

Berkhamsted fought back and went 2-1 ahead at half time, before grabbing another two in the second period to move 4-1 in front.

Staring down the barrel, Luton finally kickstarted into life and were back in the match thanks to strikes from Cameron Sarrington and Perri D’Cruz, but couldn’t find the all-important equaliser as the visitors hung on for their first win of the season.
