Golfing prize will putt pair in front

Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa want to change the perception of golf to show that it is a fun, inclusive sport which anyone can learn to play.

Luton Hoo Hotel’s PGA Professional, Craig Ferris, is so confident that, with the right tuition, raw talent will shine through, he is offering two readers private coaching with the aim of taking them from novice to green-side confident in just four hours.

Craig explains: “For this challenge I’m looking for two people who would be perceived to be unlikely golfers.

“It might be because they are very young or more mature, for example.

“To make the challenge even more exciting we’re looking for people with no or extremely limited golf experience.

“The only pre-requisite is enthusiasm!”

The two people chosen to receive this incredible tuition worth £250, will also receive a six month golf membership for Luton Hoo Hotel, worth over £500 (£175 for junior membership), which includes fantastic benefits such as complimentary guest passes, room and restaurant discounts and access to a championship golf course.

The golf membership prize will run from October 2013 to March 2014.

It will be awarded to the prize winner and the name is non-transferrable.

The one to one four hour golf session must be taken in September or October 2013 and will be booked in at a time subject to availability.

If the winner is under 18 a parent or guardian will be required to attend the tutorial. No cash alternative.

Proof of posting is no proof of receipt.

The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

If the winner is aged 4-18, the prize will be a seven day Junior Membership for six months.

If the winner is over 18 the prize will be a five day membership (Mon-Fri) for six months.
