Hardiman enjoys impressive BAMMA debut to record victory

FORMER Marine Dale Hardiman made an impressive debut on Europe’s largest Mixed Martial Arts event on Saturday at The NIA in Birmingham.

Hardiman defeated Scott Jansen by submission with a rear naked choke hold 1.16mins into round two of their scheduled three-round fight at the BAMMA 7 event.

The 23-year-old Lutonian is trained and managed by Storm Gym founder Master Amir Subasic and recorded his 10th win from 12 fights.

Stopsley student Hardiman, who formerly attended Cardinal Newman and Sacred Heart schools, stuck to his gameplan despite some serious foul play by Jansen.

Hardiman maintained his cool and capitalised on an opportunity to force the submission.

The Lutonian has already been offered to fight on the next card.
