HOCKEY: Luton Ladies are back on form

Luton Town ladies climbed up the Five Counties League Premier Division after getting back on track with a 3-2 home win against Broxbourne.

Despite finding themselves 2-0 down, Luton emerged in determined mood after the break, pulling one back through Katlyn Bright.

Luton then drew level thanks to Erin Corder’s solo effort, before converting after a goalmouth scramble to triumph.

The ladies IIs lost 9-0 at Hertford.

Meanwhile, Luton’s men’s team were beaten 3-2 at Winchmore Hill and Enfield in EML Division Three South West, while the seconds drew 2-2 with Cheshunt and the thirds lost 8-0 at Cheshunt IIs
