The hosts were ahead early on through Kurtis Pitchford, before Rob Shearer capitalised on further good link-up play to make it 2-0.

Cameron Sarrington netted the third as Luton led comfortably at half time, before Carter Bright and Cameron Bright added to the scoreline in the second period.

MOM was handed to both Carter Bright and Shearer.

The IIs lost 2-1 away at West Herts IVs in Division Five SW as Perri D’Cruz was on target, with John Hathaway named MOM, after he almost levelled only to see his shot hit both posts.

Luton’s IIIs suffered a hefty 8-1 defeat West Herts Vs in Division Seven SW as Nathan McNeil bagged a consolation, with Bradley Jackson the star performer, while Luton Vagrants won 3-2 at Cheshunt IIIs, Kevin Abranches, Dave Neale and Grant Maxted on target.

A depleted Luton Ladies lost 5-0 against Bishop’s Stortford in the Five Counties Premier Division, as they finished with nine players after suffering a double injury blow. Star performer was Charlotte Dunham.
