Hide AdThe Canaries then missed a glorious opportunity from close range, but took the lead when a tame shot bobbled over keeper Hollie Staples’ hands and into the net.
In the second period, Luton came out strongly as Kane went on driving run before being upended in the box, with Zara Carroll smashing the spotkick home.
Great play by Michelle Byrne put Kane in again but she was unable to hit the target, while Erica Byron couldn’t test the keeper either.
Staples made two excellent saves to keep her side alive, with Hilary Ferroni defending well too.

The goalscorer almost had a third only to be denied by the fingertips of the Canaries goalkeeper.
