Twelve Luton secondary schools were represented at the event organised and hosted by Lea Manor High School.

Lealands, Icknield, Challney Girls and Boys, Barnfield South and West, Stopsley, Putteridge, Denbigh, Cardinal Newman and Ashcroft were all in action as Cardinal Newman won the girls event and Icknield the boys.

Organiser and head of PE at Lea Manor, Carl Belle, said: “All the schools celebrated a day of sporting success and the athletes produced some outstanding performances, including a 23.45m javelin throw from Lea Manor’s Aqeilah Khan, only 55cm off the track record.”
