Also at North House, Daniel Wells banked a 19lb common with Chris Bartlett having commons of 23lb 4oz and 18lb 6oz.

On the adjacent South Lagoon, Ken Ault tempted bream of 8lb 10oz and 7lb 12oz.

At Beckerings Reservoir, Mark Ridgeway caught seven to 20lb-plus with plenty of doubles coming out through the week.

The roach fishing at Beckerings is excellent with 12-14oz fish coming to the pole and larger specimens to 1lb 8oz coming to feeder tactics.

SCL fished the Grand Union Canal at Town South on Sunday, July 3, with Steve Johnson winning after catching 32lb 4oz – bream to 2lb on worm, caster and pellet.

In second was Tony Cassidy with 19lb 11oz, third was Tony Clawson with 19lb 7oz and fourth was Roger Beal with 18lb 15oz.

Fifth place was Lol Breach with 18lb 11oz, while sixth was Lee Jones with 18lb 6oz.
