The trio of Richard Hobbs, Steve Crowley and Carl Hunt beat four other teams to make their way to the semi-finals where they fought the team that was based at the British Judo Centre of Excellence in Walsall.

Unfortunately, the team from Luton School of Judo were unable to win this battle, but managed to finish third which is an excellent achievement as their average age is 38 and most of the people they were fighting against were in their 20s.
