Lake lands fine duo on Beckerings Reservoir
As part of a fish rescue from a water that was being drained, the Environment Agency oversaw the introduction of three catfish into Beckerings Reservoir.

Hide AdThe cats weighed in at 11lb, 15lb and 44lb and will provide a boost to the existing catfish stock which is now thought to comprise only one fish of around 34lb.
On the South Lagoon, Les Hilliard had a 15lb common, Patrick Heath an 11lb common and a 9lb bream, Simon Heath two bream of 9lb 2oz and 9lb, while Tim Scarff had a 5lb bream
On North House Lake, Ionut Cires had commons of 34lb 1oz and 26lb 1oz plus a 28lb 2oz mirror, Glenn Millier a 26lb 8oz common, Peter Singlehurst a 21lb common and Josh Hammersley a 20lb 4oz common.

Hide AdMeanwhile, Ashley Irvine caught five carp to 27lb 10oz, Robert Langdon had a 9lb 4oz bream and John Hansell a 19lb 12oz common.
Enfield Highway WM fished Beckerings Reservoir last weekened, with R Reeves first with 19lb 3oz of bream and perch.
In second was J Fisher with 16lb 1oz of bream and perch, while third was T Fisher with a 12lb carp.
