LDSC stay at the summit

With no Beds League action for Luton and Dunstable Squash Club, focus switched to Herts League visit of Broxbourne IVs.

With each team scheduled to play each other three times, this was the first of the return ties and LDSC followed up their 14-6 away win with a 15-7 home victory.

Fifth string Paul Main went down 3-0 to talented youngster Hannah Daly, with Main only really testing Daly in the third as he lost 15-13.

On the other court Steve Wells redressed the balance with a convincing 3-0 win, while the third string match was the most closely contested of the evening.

Scot Adam comfortably won the first game, but took his foot off the gas and lost the next three games, two on tie-breaks, as he smashed his racket leaving the court.

Matt Mulara then beat the athletic Shola Bello 3-1, before the ever reliable Kachinga Kabwe put on a show to see off Rob Carrol 3-0.

LDSC now sit at the top of the table with a fabulous chance of promotion.
