Luton AC ladies put in solid showing at National Road Relay Championships

Luton AC sent a ladies team to the English Road Runners Association National Road Relay Championships at Sutton Park, Birmingham on Saturday.

Rosie Keane led off on the first of the four 4.3km legs, finishing in 40th place.

Revee Walcott-Nolan, now training with some of the country’s elite runners at St Mary’s College, took over to record 15.24mins, gaining 18 places in the process, to finish in 22nd.

Claire McMahon (16.11mins) and Christine Lathwell (17.00mins) ran solidly to maintain this position to the end. Attention at the club now turns to cross-country action with the first Chiltern League fixture taking place in Watford on Saturday.
