Hide AdTown kept up the pressure and a quick reply from Cameron Sarrington put Luton 2-1 ahead at the break.
A strong start to the second half allowed Corder to stretch Luton’s lead from another penalty corner.
However, newly-promoted Shefford & Sandy found another gear and Luton’s back-pedalling gave the home side the momentum to pull back a goal and set up a tense final 10 minutes.
