Luton Hoo’s Simpson makes Fourball finale
Paul Simpson, of Luton Hoo, and Joel Saunders, of Verulam Golf Club, carded an eight under par round of 62 along with Lee Curling and Daniel Field in the Skins PGA Fourball Championship qualifying event at Bush Hill Park on Monday.
They will now join four other qualifiers at the £28,750 final which will be staged at Forest Pines Golf Club in Lincolnshire between October 3-5.
Meanwhile, Darren Charlton (Dunstable Downs) and Alex White (Romiley) plus the pair of Noel Quinn (Whipsnade) and Chris Forsyth (Topgolf Academy) were one of several teams to tie for fourth place with a six under par round of 64.
