Luton Rugby enjoy a double at Kenilworth

Luton Rugby recorded their first double of the season after beating Kenilworth 35-25 in National League Three Midlands on Saturday.

James Tamatoa and Jimmy Speirs both scored twice for the visitors while Mike Weston also went over with Joe Murphy converting each try. Next up for Luton is a home game against Old Northamptonians.

In Midlands One East, Dunstablians suffered a 43-7 loss to local rivals Leighton Buzzard.

Simon George was the only scorer for Dees as Buzzard’s clinical finishing was the difference between the sides.

Mansfield are the visitors for Dees this week.

Stockwood Park slipped to a narrow 23-20 defeat at Market Harborough in Midlands Two East South.

First half tries from James Hankey and Aaron Waterfield as well as two Steve Pollock penalties put Park in control, but the hosts stole the win with a late penalty. Next up for Park are Northampton BBOBs.

Vauxhall Motors were on the receiving end of an 84-3 thrashing against St Neots in Midlands Four East South.

Vauxhall were outplayed for the entire match and will be hoping to improve when they host Stamford this Saturday.
