Luton Rugby hit back to defeat Old Haberdashers

A fine second half saw Luton Rugby enjoy their first home London North One victory of the campaign against Old Haberdashers on Saturday.

Luton had led 19-0 after 11 minutes, only to find themselves 22-19 down at the break, before they finally emerged triumphant.

Tom Mahendran, Tesh Edwards and Michael Weston went over in the first half with Aiden Kelly kicking two conversions, but Haberdashers hit back to lead 22-19.

After the break, Kenny levelled the scores with a penalty, before Weston added his second try of the match after 53 minutes, with Kenny converting and William Affleck kicking a drop goal.

Luton travel to Brentwood this weekend.
