Luton Town HC hammer eight past Potters Bar

Luton Town HC hammered leaders Potters Bar 8-1 in their East Men’s League Division Three South West top-of-the-table clash at the weekend.

Sitting in second place prior to the match, Luton’s midfield maestro Graham Bright’s sublime finish after five minutes put Town in front.

Bright followed up with a tap-in on seven minutes, before he completed his hat-trick with a marvellous goal.

The fourth soon arrived before the break as Luke Titmuss netted.

Luton’s scoring continued after the interval as Cameron Sarrington tucked away another sublime reverse stick shot.

Town’s goalkeeper Tom Dobson pulled off a stunning save, but Bar had a goal shortly afterwards, though Town added the icing on the cake as Garry Newman, Matt Corder and Bryn Owen all netted.
