Luton U15s excel at SEAA Aldershot relays

Luton AC were well represented at the SEAA Aldershot relays over the weekend.

On the road and pathways around Rushmoor Arena, there was some fine performances from the younger members, who enjoyed the better weather conditions on Saturday.

The performance of the weekend came from the U15 boys team as newcomer Kai Gardner ran an excellent first leg in 10.03mins in 11th place before passing over to Jamal Lewis, whose time of 9.10mins over the 3km distance, was the fastest of the day in the age group by over 10 seconds.

Lewis gave Luton a 100m lead and the pressure fell to Tom Canham (11.46mins) and Harry Wells (10.24mins) to hang on to give them an excellent sixth.
