Mistakes cost Dunstablians dear

Errors in the closing stages cost Dunstablians dear in their Intermediate Cup round three clash at home to Midlands Two West South side Old Laurentians at the weekend.

Aaron Boland went over to put Dees ahead, but Laurentians levelled on the stroke of half time.

After the break, Kevin Boland touched down for a converted score that put Dees 12-5 in front.

Yet again, the hosts didn’t make the most of their advantage as a slick move saw Laurentians dot down, adding the extras too and then cross the line once more late on to seal the win.

Dees are back in Midlands Two East South action this weekend as they travel to Oadby Wyggestonians.
