Chiltern Ladies were beaten 2-0 by Aylesbury IIs in their Five Counties League Division One clash at the weekend, with Lorna Pead named star player.
In Division Three, the IIs won 2-0 at St Neots IIs with goals from Shannon Condor and Holly Steward.
Chiltern were under pressure to start with, before Hilary Ward found Holly Steward and she set off on a brilliant run with Condor tapping home the rebound after her shot was saved.
In the second period, Chiltern made it 2-0 as Bev Siddons’ cross was smashed home by Steward.
Two vital saves off the line by Vicky Spencer ensured a well deserved win and yet another clean sheet.
The IIIs racked up the goals, winning 8-0 at Berkhamsted & Hemel IVs in Division Five.
Chiltern were ahead inside 60 seconds when Bev Siddons scored, and were soon 4-0 in front, as Paula Sinfield, Loraine Cherrill and Lori Croft all found the net.
After the break, Chiltern added a further goals through Natalie Cook, Gill Sentinella, Cherrill and Croft.
Both Leah Gourley and Carly Grimmer also went close, while youngster Jos Merriman was the star player.
