VIDEO: Reynolds eases to points win ahead of ABAs

Luton boxer Jordan Reynolds overcame Niall Hendrix by a unanimous points decision in their clash at Stevenage on Sunday.

The former Barnfield College student proved too strong from start to finish as he gained the decision from the judges. Afterwards, Reynolds said: “It looked a tough fight as the opponent I boxed was in his mid 20s.

“So he had his man strength on me but that wasn’t a problem as I was too slick and too clever for him in the early rounds.

“By the time the third round came he couldn’t handle my work rate or my body shots and I was able to control to fight and let my hands go when I wanted to.

“I cruised the fight and made him do what I wanted him to do and saved my energy as I’ll be boxing again on Saturday in the Senior Elite ABA Home Counties Finals.”

Reynolds heads to The Paddocks, Long Road in Canvey Island for that fight this weekend and if victorious, will be boxing in Liverpool at the Echo Arena.
