Luton Leagrave won the Autumn U7/U8 Cup final with a 3-2 win over Luton Allstar Pirates.
Keeper Vaughan Torsney made some good stops early on, while the Pirates keeper also denied Andre Shekle.
Pirates were ahead after five minutes, but Leagrave regrouped as David Hamilton produced some excellent challenges to inspire his team-mates as a marvellous strike by Shekle levelled the match.
The second quarter started with Luton Leagrave on top once more as Leighton Edwards organised his team mates from the back with Kyle Alford to the fore.
Hazeem Maldini and Josh Mallett went close, but Leagrave found themselves trailing 2-1.
Quarter three saw Leagrave once again equalise as Shekle brushed past his marker to slot into the net.
With Hamilton and Edwards defending superbly, along with Alford, Maldini and Mallett winning their midfield battles, it was Alford who won it it, firing home a loose ball.
Man of the match was awarded to Hamilton for his commanding performance, as Leagrave, managed by Danny Hamilton and coached by Hartley Coleman, will go for a third cup success next month.
