Narrow triumph for Luton AC
LUTON AC narrowly won their home Eastern Young Athletes League match last month despite missing a number of athletes.
The club scored a total of 600 points across the age groups to beat Chelmsford (581pts), Southend (488pts), Peterborough (313pts), Huntingdon (237pts) and Leighton Buzzard (191pts).
Notable Luton performances came from Katie Hanbury and Shanae Francois, who both ran 15.3secs in the U13 girls 100m.
