Toby Nathan was back on Beckerings for his first night session this season and snared four commons to 22lb 8oz and mirrors of 21lb 8oz, 18lb, 17lb and 15lb.

Kevin Day banked a 22lb mirror last week at North House Lake, which was part of a three-fish catch.

At the same venue Dave Oxburgh fished with his grandson Braidan Tidmarsh. Oxburgh caught the mirror carp known as the Wanderer at 31lb with commons of 25lb and 18lb, while Tidmarsh landed a 24lb common.

Rick Ashwell had a 25lb 2oz common, Ivan Sayer an 18lb 1oz common, Sue Sayer a 21lb 10oz mirror, Charlie Henaghan a 21lb 8oz common and 15lb mirror, John Hansell a 16lb 4oz common plus 11lb mirror and Scott Larman commons of 16lb and 10lb.

On the adjacent South Lagoon Jordan Bullus tempted a 25lb 12oz common with Callum Beaching banking a 17lb 10oz common.

The canal continues to fish well with Town South producing a 30lb bag of skimmers and perch to pole-fished maggot. Grove Church also produced a 30lb net to an angler fishing the waggler. It’s been bream every cast at section 15 with sweetcorn being the top bait.

Enfield Highway WMC fished at Slapton last Sunday and R Reeves triumphed with 19lb 6oz of skimmers and roach. Runner-up was F Hanlon with 15lb 14oz of skimmers and roach, A Flynn was third with 8lb 15oz, T Mann fourth on 8lb 6oz and B Keens fifth with 7lb 6oz. Eleven fished for a total weight of 75lb.
