Netball round-up: Luton Dunstable & District League

Spectators were served up a real treat as Dodgers beat A-Line Flyers 34-26 in the Luton Dunstable & District League Premier Division.

A-line led 8-6 at the end of the first quarter after Nicola Kelly had dominated the court in attack.

The second period was well contested as Dodgers edged 15-14 ahead, with Clair Prickett feeding through centre court with effortless accuracy for Dodgers.

A well-fought third saw A-Line sneak 21-20 in front as GK Gabi Gabrielle found her feet and intercepted many balls aimed at the Dodgers’ shooters.

But Dodgers suddenly found another burst of strength and power as they stormed through the final period to triumph 34-26.
